We have a FANTASTIC APRIL AHEAD! The studio is filled with new Art! Join us for our “Spring Fling” Thursday , April 11th from 4 to 7! We have Blah by Bari candles and Stand Out Chic in the House! Both of these amazing women love to pay it forward using sustainability in their businesses. Bari making amazing candles out of everyday finds and Gabriella has quite the vintage eye and has AMAZING finds she is bringing to the studio. Both will be there through Saturday, but we have a special raffle for Thursday night! So come have a drink and light bite on me!

Long time High School Friend Mary Boyer owns the most kick ass gym in Lake in the Hills and is challenging her TRU FIT tribe to supporting us with a 45 MILE challenge! They will be getting support from Friends and Family and asking for donations in the 30 day challenge of a ride/bike/walk or hike every day in April. I WILL BE DOING THE SAME CHALLENGE! Who will donate $45 to help me on my 45 MILE quest!? HIT the DONATE BUTTON and show me some love this April!

Can you believe these HEROES are going to college? I am still wrapping my head around it all, and not ready for all of them and Henry to leave! We are in a shift change over here, I still have some rising seniors and budding 8th graders ready to work, but we are holding a bit while I am the Interim CEO of the Epilepsy Foundation of Chicago. Were so thankful for the Winnetka Presbyterian Church letting us use their amazing space for our car wash today! We raised Thousands to help send some kids with Epilepsy to camp and also help our sweet HERO Patricio get back on his feet!

Its cold outside, but warm in the studio!

If you have not been to the studio yet to our new home base, you need to stop by! We have teamed up with two AMAZING artists, Lisa Byrne and Donna Williams to create a beautiful space to plant our feet and continue spreading the word about Epilepsy. Godzilla VS The Epilepsy Monster was a success! We had a beautiful evening on the lawn with popcorn and a beautiful sunset on Sunset Road! My Amazing Ambassadors rocked the snack stand, set up and clean up! Couldn’t be more proud of this crew!

Hi Everyone! We had a great show at Randoon’s and raised thousands for CURE! We are thrilled and grateful to our fans! The Art still available will be up online THIS FRIDAY! So appreciate everyone who came by to visit one of our favorite shops! Our Ambassadors Jennifer and Asher were fantastic and helpful and we are so lucky to work with them!

We will be gathering with our Ambassadors next month to gear up for a great year of fundraisers, so Stay tuned! Spread some love this winter with a heART show at Randoons!
Starting February 2nd through February 13th our windows will be filled with artwork by Nancy Iida. We are excited to see all her new pieces combining metal, oil, and canvas. Randoons will also be donating a percentage of our sales throughout this time.

We are so looking forward to a great 2021 and I am sure you all are too! Henry is 19 Months seizure free and we are extremely hopeful that we will continue this long stretch. We are kicking off in February with “”heART’s for HEROES” Show at Randoons’ in Hubbard Woods. Randoons’ will be hosting my art in their windows for 2 weeks. Beginning February 2nd thru the 13th. Randoons’ will also be giving HEROES a percentage of her sales for that entire time! .

We will have a special raffle and a Giveaway during those days! So make sure to come by and see us! My HEROES Kids will be busy in their kitchens baking some amazing goodies to thank you for popping in!

18 Months Seizure Free and Going Strong!

Our Kitchen Island Gang were all celebrating this morning with Henry and some cake in recognition of a number we have not hit with no seizures in a very long time. Our HEROES have a little time off this winter, and I picked up some work doing a painting a day in November in recognition of Epilepsy Awareness Month. My challenge is complete and most of my work that didn’t sell through social media is on our art page, just click the Art For Heroes button for I upload often. I am available for commissions on any scale and all are 100% tax deductible. I love a challenge so feel free to reach out! We are looking forward to a fantastic 2021 with the pandemic in our rear view mirror and some exciting fundraisers planned! So stay tuned and have a safe Holiday season! Nancy and Crew!

“HEROES Walked Winnetka”

Thank you to all who donated for our Walk on September 20th! We had a Beautiful Day Out and were led on our way by our AMAZING Winnetka Fire Department! We raised Thousands of dollars to make a big difference in the lives of so many fighting Epilepsy. We recently gave $10,000 to The Danny Did Foundation and the Epilepsy Foundation of Greater Chicago. It feels so great to make a difference. We thank you for your continued support of our endeavors!

The Art studio is open and doing amazing! We have had many students come by! ALL proceeds go to research and support programs. $75 for a 1 1/2 hour private lesson and $150 for groups of 3 or less. Email me if interested!

This has become very popular, so I will be opening up blocks of 5 weekly lessons. Private or groups of 3 or less. $325.00

We had and AMAZING sale last week and are so thankful for all who stopped by to see us! I am humbled with how much art we sold and we were left with 3 cookies! That’s it!! We are so grateful for all our HEROES who participated for this event and so proud of them. We had our best year ever and are so appreciative of OPTIQUE and Dr. Harms who sponsors us every year. We are working on a HEROES WALK WINNETKA for September, so stay tuned on ways to sponsor us as we walk a 10K through town to raise awareness and funds for Epilepsy! It takes a village to make a difference, and we have one!
